Wasted Day… Part 2

Talked with Justin a bit tonight. Tomorrow is going to be my first day! Woohoo! Well, maybe not a full day (I’m heading in around 11), but I’ll be getting the rundown from him. I’m a little (alright, a lot) nervous about what’s expected of me. But I know that’s just jitters. It’ll be hard at first, but I will master the tasks they ask of me. It’ll take time and practice, but I’m looking forward to it.

Looking back on the past few weeks, it seems a bit of a vacation. Almost two weeks of piddling around, doing a lot of nothing. And all I had to do was get fired. :)

Actually, I shouldn’t get too excited. This is contract work, and will last until October. As much as I would love for it to turn into a more permanent position, that remains to be seen. I’ll have to focus still on getting a new portfolio together, and assume the worst.

But tomorrow is a new, employed day. Just think of what I’ll learn before the week’s done.
