Unreal Tournament

JohnnyFlash set up the old Unreal Tournament upon the server. Grumpy, jverbal, Caffeine and I played a few games. I seemed to be doing ok at the start, but then it just all went to hell. I used to be fairly good at this game – but tonight, it was like I was trying to move the mouse around with my lips. Just terrible…

Good fun though. How odd, all of us tech geeks who are just starry-eyed with the latest and greatest. But for fun, we fall back onto an older version of a video game. Familiar ground. I’m curious what this says about us, that even in the face of advanced graphics and the "next version," we find more comfort and enjoyment out of a pre-established environment.
