It's just this thing I have, I guess. I seem to be drawn to where balloons end up.

They suggest such a sad end, always. They're symbols of celebration and happiness, but to see them after the fact is a bit depressing.

Found this on the corner of my street, right at North and Wood. I ended up giving them a call once I got back home. You should too.
