While I post most of my own life up on here, I'm still wary of putting family stuff on the blog. While I've made the decision to make certain aspects of my life public, not everyone else in my family has (or would want to, given that chance). I expect this will change over time, but for now... I'm going to try to keep the blog stuff (particularly the images) more about me.

I'll say this though: my sister's wedding reception was fun. Tons of people, both new and old: new family members from Shane's side, and relatives/cousins I haven't seen in many, many years. To top things off, we celebrated my grandmother's 93rd birthday today - and she ended up giving all of us a small book she wrote, recounting specific moments in her life (translated from the Chinese by my uncle).

On a sidenote: through Stacey and Shane's wedding (last weekend in Sedona, and this weekend in Indy), I've seen two old high school friends that I haven't seen in some eight to ten years. My friend Eugene happened to be finishing his residency in Phoenix (and stopped by to join us for dinner), and my friend Kevin attended the reception last night. On seeing my old friends - I'm both amazed and delighted by how much, and how little, things change.
