Today, I went to go help Matt (aka Tha.Riddla) and Mel with their move. Showed up around 11AM, and took a quick survey of the place. Overall, it was me, Matt, Matt's boss Mark, and Will (aka RogueDesigner).

There wasn't really all that much stuff, all told. But here's the catch - Matt and Mel live on the fourth floor.

Fast forward about two hours, and we've got the first truckload packed and are en route. All the big/heavy stuff is here, and we're headed towards the new digs.

Matt, talking about how the place looked when they saw it (before everything was finished up). On walking in, both Will and I were amazed by the light this apartment gets - very warm and very full.

After a quick refueling of Pizza Metro and some rehydration, we go back to it.

Fast forward again a bit more. This shot was taken after we went back for a second trip, loaded up all the free-floating items (clothes, electronics, etc), and finished unloading them into the new place.

View from the back of the apartment, on the back porch area. Today was a pretty ideal day for moving - clear skies, and it was constantly cool. Right when you worked up a sweat from moving, you'd step outside and after a few minutes, you'd be completely cooled down.

After everything was said and done, I dropped
Will off downtown, and headed home to try and take a nap. Instead, I ended up just vegging on the couch for an hour watching West Wing episodes on DVD. Showered, and then headed on over to Danny's for some music courtesy of Justin.
