Searching for the Virgin Mary

I tracked down Steph during lunch, and she seemed interested in going to search with me. Once 5:30PM rolled around, I swung by her place and the two of us set off to see if we could track down the Mother of God.

Of course, en route I stopped to take pictures of silly things I spotted along the way.

Seeing small stalks on trees are sure signs that spring is truly here.

I've got this thing for smileys on car antennas.

Farther down, same antenna.

Near the expressway, Steph and I came across this really beautiful tree, just hanging over a fence and leaning above the sidewalke. When I asked as to what kind of tree it was, Steph informed me it was a Dogwood. We both pulled down a branch and took time out to smell the flowers.

//Edit: Correction from Juliet. This is actually a Magnolia tree.
