Ain't Too Proud to Beg

Well, I've not really heard of this thing until today, but I figure it's worth a shot. Lo and behold, the time has come for the Sixth Annual Weblog Awards.

Famewhore that I am, I'm asking any and all kind readers to submit a vote for yours truly. I think I've done a good job with this guy over the years. And while I've missed a few days here and there, I think I'm one of the few out there who comes close to updating every single day. That's gotta count for something.

Might I remind you that mine is the web site that's brought you such entertaining entries as: Clocking a Snowman, Operation: The Costume, Peanut Butter Jelly Time 2.0, the sport of Whirlyball, Lazy Susan Cam, Naked Day, and the Arby's "Six Roast Beef Sandwiches in One Hour" Challenge.

Good times, good times.

If you'd be willing, kind reader, I'd really appreciate a nomination. On looking over the categories, I'm going to suggest Best-Kept-Secret Weblog.

I know the impulse is there, but try to fight the urge to nominate me for the Best Asian Weblog.

And hey, if you don't want to vote for me, consider voting for these blogs (which are all part of my daily reading routine, and all very worthy of winning):

Lifetime Achievement Award
rachelleb.com

Best Group Weblog
Gapers Block
Boing Boing

Most Humorous Weblog

Best Photography of a Weblog
Daily Dose of Imagery
