Puttering, Gaming, Updating
Today’s been an odd mixture of slacking off and work. I woke up this morning and spent most of it digging around on my new Mac some. Still getting used to some of the ins and outs, still trying to muck around with things like the Spotlight and Automator.
I did end up updating the Flash Nav. Not a huge deal, but 2006 is now an option in the navigation. That nav code has a serious case of the ugly, but until I revamp the look… it’s gonna stay as is.
I also tried to import all my photos into iPhoto. However, it looks like a lot of my older images (pre-2003 images) all have no “Date Created” information. On top of that, they all have the same “Date Modified” info, set to someting like January 1, 2002. So when I try to import these photos, it dumps them all into one big folder.
The one thing I haven’t figure out yet – how do you edit file information like “Date Created” or “Date Modified” on a Mac? Anyone know of a good way to batch this info? I found that, after I’ve imported images into iPhoto… I can edit the “Date Created” information. But this would require me to do this manually, for a CRAPTON of photos. I’m looking for some easier, more automated way.
