Ok. This is a pretty big step for me.

Up until now, I haven't had a cellphone. EVER. I just never liked the idea of always being "accessible" and, to be honest, have always been a pretty big homebody. Lately though, there have been several occasions where having a cellphone would have been pretty darn handy.

After looking around a bit, talking with coworkers about providers, checking Consumer Reports regarding phones and carriers... I decided to go with Cingular. And got myself a fancy new Razr phone.

The phone itself is pretty amazing, and I'm in awe at just how small/thin it is. This is going to be interesting. Never having had a cellphone before, I don't know if I'm going to turn into someone who uses it sparingly... or all the time.

So yeah. First cell phone ever. And I can log on to AIM with the thing as well. Neat. :)
