South Beach Diet, Status

I hopped on a scale to weigh myself last night. I’m at about 196, which is good considering that I remember being over 200 the last time I weighed myself (some many months ago). I *think* I’ve lost weight, but I’m not sure.

I don’t know that I’m going to obsess over weight, or really check it all that much. I’m more curious than anything, since as of today, I didn’t rewlly know how much I weighed at all.

So far, I do feel better. I think I feel lighter. But whether this is an actual or whether it’s a placebo effect, it’s hard to tell right now. But so far, I do feel a higher degree of energy. I’m no longer getting tired at around 3PM. I feel pretty good.

Of slight interest: I’m now consuming a lot more cauliflower than I ever expected to, on a daily basis. I’d venture to say I’ve eaten more cauliflower in the past four days than I have in the past four years.

And the scary thing is, I kind of like it.
