Downloaded the latest version of Movable Type (4.1), and installed it on my server today.

It was a bit nerve-wracking, even though the whole process was pretty simple. It took maybe 10 minutes to back up my files... and another ten to upload/overwrite my old files. Then, a few clicks later, I had a whole new UI to work with for my blog. Pretty sweet.

Lots to look into and explore. I've long wanted a calendar-like navigation, and I wonder if this newer version of MT will allow for that. In the past, the process would tank everytime I tried to re-create the blog - and things only cleared up after I abandoned the whole calendar module. We'll see how it goes this time around.

Doubtful you'll notice any change on the front end, so this is more news for me than you. Hopefully though, I'll be able to check out some new widgits and whatnots, and add a few fun things here and there.
