Today, I ended up cleaning the apartment a bit. I'm not very fast when it comes to cleaning (I don't like it, and avoid it at almost
every turn in the process). I'm also easily distracted. So cleaning just one room for me can take an eternity.
I made some headway into the kitchen area, and spent this evening working on updating the blog. Specifically, I went back and added stuff
for the night of Gretchen's reading.

I was trying to dig around online, and find out who was responsible for the "Chicago
is for Loners" sign I saw, a few days back. I had some prior luck with
this sort of thing, when I dug around for who might be responsible for those You
Are Beautiful stickers.
I looked up keywords, based on the text below the actual tagline. The author is
attributed as k.a.h., which didn't help much. But the phrase "city of destiny" led me to discover that that's the tagline for Des Plaines!
In fact, it led me to this particular page on someone else's blog.

This blog was something joyful to stumble across. The name of it stems from the fact tha the author lives above a laundromat in New York, whose
address is actually 666.
There are some incredible photographs here, and a lot of great links. Check out Satan's Laundromat!

If I've been drinking, and I'm working away on the computer... I really, really like
listening to Múm.
It makes my toes curl. |
