I think there's a specific term used by photographers, to refer to that moment where the daylight seems to be
just right. It's somewhere around an hour after dawn and an hour before sunset, maybe? Something like that?
Anyhow, this morning, the sky was clear and crisp, and the way the sun lit up everything... it felt like I could
do no wrong with photos. I snapped this shot while waiting for the train at the damen stop, and it just
seems to pop out at me so much more than many of the pictures I tend to take.
I was watching the birds do their thing again. And honestly, I don't think this is all that great of a photo -
I just love how sharp and crisp everything seems to look, given the sunlight this morning.
// Edit
Thanks to both and Sean (aka Icculus) and Jesseca, for reminding me that the term
is The Magic Hour.

After yesterday's snub from Boing Boing, looking at
my referrer logs tonight - I got a pretty huge surprise. It looks like I've been getting a ton of
visitors from ebaumsworld!
According to their links page, it was last updated 4 hours ago. Seeing as how it's midnight, I'm wondering if my
site will get slammed tomorrow, during the day. I've had a good number of visitors so far, but it's late on a
Wednesday. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.
Also, it looks like their most recent links are displayed on the
home page as well. No graphics or anything, just a text link with the words "Different Costume." Still though,
lots of traffic so far.
My inner geek is a little happier now.
