Liz and I took our scooters over to Lincoln Park for the afternoon. Alright, technically… they’re her scooters, and I just get to mooch. But I have to say, it’s pretty awesome, riding together. The trip over was pretty spectacular, as the sun was out, the sky was clear… and we were out and about….
Tonight, Jake and Lisa swung by to hang out. Jake joined Liz and I for dinner, and Lisa showed up a bit later to drink some beer and catch up. It’s crazy to think that we’ve only been here at this apartment (together) for a week. It definitely feels like so much longer than that….

Today also marks the first ripe lime that was picked from Matt’s lime tree. To celebrate, beer was purchased and the lime divvied up accordingly. Nothing but good reactions, all around. Guess those mites were only after the plant and not the fruit.
I walked in to the office this morning, and saw that all the crates had arrived for our move next week. It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly two years since our last move, and the last time we packed up our things in these crates. Ah well. Come next Friday, we’ll have everything…
Liz and I painted the office yesterday (Justin stopped by to help out for a bit). We got home from work, moved stuff around, and blew through the room – getting everything painted in one night. Not too shabby. This is where we set up my desk and my bookshelves. These are my books… mostly…
