Fat Willy’s, Kill Bill
After work, Chelsea and I went to see Kill Bill, Vol. 2. Right before the movie, we stopped off at a small Rib joint across the street, Fat Willy’s.
Holy crap, was that place good! The two of us split an order of fried shrimp, along with some mac and cheese. Fantastic food. From now on, whenever I head here for a movie, I’m stopping in for a meal.
After the movie, we bummed around a bit. Stopped off to grab a six pack at some sketchy liquor store (porn DVD’s, next to the domestic beer – go figure). We hung out at her place for a bit, and I got to see her cat Vince, who I haven’t seen in an age.

Here are some skeletons, hanging from the rafters outside Chelsea’s place. Random, I know. I took this because I hadn’t really taken any pictures today.
We hung out for a while, and I took a stab at trying to get her past a certain level in her Buffy the Vampire Slayer video game. Sadly, not having played the game before, I only got so far. Once I started though, I could feel the compulsiveness sort of kick in. If I had my way, I’d need a big, full cup of coffee and a few hours. I’m sure I could beat it then.
For some reason, Chelsea has been mentioning Old School a lot, and we ended up throwing that into the VCR. Watched a bit of it, and after a while, she started getting tired so I took off. By the time I got home, I realized it was close to 1:30AM (the whole time, I didn’t think it was later than 11:30PM).
Tonight was fun, a very low-key, non-boozing evening (I had a few sips of my beer, but really didn’t feel much like drinking given the past few days).
