Subj: FOUND Video at the Siskel Center! Sunday June 12th and Wed June 15thThe Chicago premiere of the Found Video Show is coming! Last fall we started collecting videotapes from people around the US and we ended up with this crazy mishmash show — you’re gonna learn tons about evolution, real estate, the LA riots, missionary work and the Mir space station. Bring your friends– and if you’ve discovered any videos, we’d love to see those, too. Bring them along to the show, they might just end up in our next big screen show-and-tell.
Hope to see you there~
Jason + Davy, and all the tapeheads at FoundPS- Our friends at The Aurora Picture Show (www.aurorapictureshow.org) helped put this thing together. Next time you’re down in Houston, you HAVE to go there — it’s a fantastic place.

Chicago Premiere!
CRAZY AND BEAUTIFUL: A SHOW OF FOUND VIDEO
2005, Various Directors, ? min.FOUND Magazine, and recently DIRTY FOUND, has carved a brilliant niche collecting and presenting the greatest found stuff (i.e.. love letters, dirty Polaroids, birthday cards, kids’ homework, to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, doodles, etc.). Now the first Found Magazine Video Show brings the same spirit to film and video, with similarly transcendent results. This screening offers up home movies, instructional videos, cable-access clips, and other juicy found footage. Included are: A training tape for Christian missionaries in Papua, New Guinea, a lip-synching preteen star of a homemade music video, cosmonauts playing with little astronaut dolls, and much more. Beta SP video. (JD)
Jason Bitner, co-creator of Found Magazine, will be present for audience discussion at the Sunday screening.
