Total Luck

Last night, I was going through a bunch of old letters. On a whim, I googled an old friend of mine, Kim, and stumbled across a site that I thought might be hers. I sent off an e-mail and, as luck would have it, we discovered we knew one another and started exchanging e-mails.

Oddly, Kim and I first started talking over the computer years ago, when we were both undergrads at Indiana University. We met a few times, and exchanged letters for a long time afterwards. Truth be told, I think I may have been the one who stopped writing… but the cause of why we stopped sending letters is hazy to me. Needless to say, it’s kinda cool that we’re chatting again, insofar as a few e-mails back and forth can be called chatting.

Very very cool stuff. Kim was someone who was incredibly creative and cool back when I knew her, some eight or nine years ago. I’m excited to find out what she’s done since then, and to discover how much cooler she’s become.
